SU GOLF LOOKS TO WIN SWAC CHAMPIONSHIP

Alexandria, LA – The Southern University men’s and women’s golf teams will tee of tomorrow morning in the 2005 Southwestern Athletic Conference Golf championships.  The men will start up at 9:00 a.m. while the women begin at 8:00 a.m.

            The Lady Jaguars will be looking for their third staright championship and sixth overall while the Jaguars will be looking for their first SWAC golf championship in 18 years.

The Lady Jags will be at the Oak Wing Golf Club. While the men will be at the Links on the Bayou course.  All competition is free and open to the public.
