Southern's women's team (59 points) outdueled
Grambling State (50 points) by nine points to take the Women's Team Title,
while Southern's men took the men's Team Title, running away with
65 points to Grambling State's 38 points, at the 47th Annual Davenport-Milburn
Pelican State Relays.
Kaisha Weeks led the Southern women by winning the 100 hurdles in 14.70. Southern also won the 4x100m shuttle hurdles (1:03.27), 4x100m (45.77) and 4x200m (1:38.62) relays in addition to the 4x400m. Eddie Larkins led SU's men in winning the 400m hurdles
in 52.95. Southern's men took top honors in the 4x100m shuttle hurdles
relay (1:03.03), the 4x200m relay (1:24.88) and the 4x400m relay. Complete Release in PDF Format
