BATON ROUGE -- The starting time of Tuesday's LSU-Southern baseball game in Alex Box Stadium has been changed to 2:30 p.m. to avoid a conflict with the NCAA women's basketball national championship game. The baseball game was originally scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m., but was moved to 2:30 p.m. due to the possibility that the LSU women's basketball team could play in the NCAA title game at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. Should LSU defeat Duke on Sunday night, the Lady Tigers will play either North Carolina or Maryland for the national championship on Tuesday evening. |
