Sean LeBeauf is in his second season at Southern University as an assistant coach under Rob Spivery. LeBeauf comes to the bluff, after a short stint at Centenary College in Shreveport, Louisiana, where he assisted with recruiting, scouting, film exchange, and practice and game management.

Before his arrival at Centenary, LeBeauf served as assistant coach at Paris Junior College in Paris, Texas. He was responsible for on-the-court and weight training workouts, scouting, academic mentoring, film exchange, and recruiting. As an assistant coach, he helped head coach Bill Foy & team to a runners-up finish in the Region XIV race.

Prior to his stint at Paris Junior College, LeBeauf was the head coach at Archbishop Shaw High School in New Orleans, Louisiana where he led the team to back-to-back state championship appearances. His squad won the state title with a record of 34-6 in 2000 and finished as runners-up in 2001 with a 31-5 mark. He also coached and taught at Destrehan High School and Booker T. Washington, where he was nominated for the Sallie Mae Award that recognizes the Elementary/Secondary First Year Teacher of the Year. LeBeauf was also a school representative on the Teacher Advisory Council and a Peer Mentor.

Coach LeBeauf has a multitude of coaching experiences, as he led the Rebels AAU boy's team and the Booker T. Washington High School girls teams in Tulsa, Okla., where he won a national AAU title and city and district girl's titles.

LeBeauf earned his bachelor's of science degree in accounting, from Montevallo (Alabama) where he also played on the nationally-ranked basketball team. He started on a team that finished with three consecutive 20-win seasons.
