The 2006 SWAC Champion Southern University men's basketball team and coaching staff will be teaming up with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge, for a community house build, on Saturday, September 23rd, 2006.

The project will take place at 9163 Cross Creek Avenue. Time of the build is from 7:30 am to 2:00 pm. The SU basketball team and coaches will help in raising the walls, and the family expected to purchase the home, will be in attendance.

Habitat for Humanity of Greater Baton Rouge is a Christian-based ministry that builds and renovates houses in partnership with the community. We provide opportunities for families in need to purchase their own homes, build community and improve their lives.

Directions to Build:
From I-10, take Bluebonnett or Siegen to south to Burbank... Trun on Gardere... Turn east (left) on Pascagoula... Turn right on Elvin, and then right on Cross Creek. The address is 9163 Cross Creek.
