Baton Rouge, LA - The Southern University four time defending Western Division Southwestern Athletic Conference champion softball team will play Texas Southern University on ESPNU on Friday, April 4th in Houston, Texas.

This will be the first time that the SU softball team has ever played on any of the ESPN networks. In the past they have had games on Cox sports television live and taped delayed. The game with TSU will be played live at 1:00 p.m. central standard time at Memorial Field Park field number one. The field is located directly across from the Memorial Park Golf Course.

"We are really excited about the opportunity to play on any of the ESPN family of networks," said head coach Nancy Marshall. "We have experience playing on television so the adjustment will be easy for us."

To see the game you must have Cox digital cable channel 243 or if you have satellite it will be shown on Direct TV channel 609.
