Baton Rouge, LA - The Southern University softball team will host the Lady Lions of Southeastern Louisiana University to a 3:00 pm contest on Tuesday, April 15th.

Southern (21-16, 10-4 SWAC) is coming off a 1-2 weekend versus conference rival Grambling State. Even with the two losses SU still ranks first in the Western Division of the SWAC rankings because of early season sweeps over Texas Southern University and Prairie View A&M.

SU will look to avenge an earlier lost to Southeastern during the Lady Lions tournament. SLU defeated Southern 10-2 behind nine hits they posted on the Blue and Gold's pitcher Megan Hodge.

The game will be played at Lady Jaguar field on the campus of Southern University. The event is free an open to the public.
