Baton Rouge, LA - The three-time Southwestern Athletic Conference Western Division champions, the Southern University Lady Jaguars, will hold their 7th Annual Nancy Marshall Youth Softball Camp. This year's event will be hosted by the city of Zachary.

The camp will be held on July 13th -15th from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm daily. All camp activities will take place at Zachary youth park in Zachary, Louisiana. Young ladies ages 9-18 are able to attend and learn to enhance their basic softball skills. Players will be placed into groups according to their age and softball experience. All participants will be taught the basic techniques and fundamentals as it relates to softball. Each camper will be given a t-shirt and certificate.

Cost for the camp will be $75.00 while groups 10 or more will be charge $55.00 per person. All checks can be made out to the city of Zachary.

All campers should wear a t-shirt, shorts, and knee pads. They should also bring a glove, cleats, bats, batting gloves, and a bat bag. These items are necessary to insure that each camper is adequately prepared to participate in all activities taking place during the camp.
