Baton Rouge, LA - Southern University's Ena Payne, Lakenya Simpson and Candace Southall were named to the 2007 All-Louisiana team.

Payne was named to the second-team All-Louisiana while Southall's and Simpson each received honorable mention credentials.

"All three ladies have done a great job for us and throughout the season," said head coach Nathaniel Denu. "Each of them deserves the honor for their hard work." Ena Payne's second post season honor as she was named to the 2007 All-SWAC second team.

Payne led the team in kills this season with 300 a career high. The Breaux Bridge, LA native also totaled 121 digs, 10 service aces and 54 blocks. Lakenya Simpson is the starting setter for SU. The junior recorded 790 assists, 159 digs, 16 service aces and 31 blocks during the 2007 season. Sophomore, Candace Southall, only played three quarters of the season but finished the year with 142 kills, 16 service aces, 142 digs and 17 blocks.
